Biography
YOUNGBAE was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. At the age of 5, he moved to the United Kingdom where he's lived in Birmingham since. He started playing video games at the age of 8. He moved from his consoles to the PC to play Warcraft 3 at 12 years old.
He started SMITE at the time of Guan Yu's original release in June 2012. After a short bout on the team Bipolar Method he would leave create the team Amaranthine (with himself being captain). In December 2013 the team would get picked up by Team SoloMid, and the team would go on to win the SMITE Launch Tournament.
One month after the Launch Tournament, Team SoloMid and Cloud 9 would trade hunters, with Smek leaving Cloud 9 for Team SoloMid and YOUNGBAE leaving Team SoloMid for Cloud 9. Cloud 9 would disband after a sad defeat in the EU Regionals against up and rising star Aquila (later to become Titan).
To prepare for Season 2, YOUNGBAE created his own team entitled Novus Orsa. Shortly before the Season 2 Qualifiers, the roster was sponsored by Team Dignitas. After the events of the Summer Split, YOUNGBAE decided to step down from the team due to issues with the team environment. [1]
On September 8th 2015, it was announced that YOUNGBAE would be Epsilon eSports's new coach.[2] Under his coaching, the team went on to win the SMITE World Championship 2016. Shortly after, YOUNGBAE decided he wanted to be a player again, and left Epsilon eSports.[3] However, after being unable to find a team, he rejoined his former team as coach.
