Biography
Weak3n lives in Sterling, Virginia. He has been playing games from a young age, as early as Duck Hunt on Nintendo. Going into SMITE, he made a team with Incon called Mediocrity Gaming.
With the exposure on Mediocrity and being to able to consistently dominate on the ranked ladder, Weak3n was able to get noticed by top players. In August 2014, just prior to the NA Kick Off LAN, Weak3n joined SNIPE Gaming as their new jungler due to the departure of its captain Shing. The team would later go on to be acquired by compLexity.
During Season 2 compLexity qualified for the SMITE Pro League in convincing fashion. However just days later, the team decided to drop their current sponsor and start a new team which would be called Melior Morior. The team would then rename to AFK Gaming.
On March 22, Weak3n announced he would drop out of the starting roster for Team EnVyUs, and would commit to streaming instead.
Like many, this retierment wouldn't last long, as soon after, he joined the roster of Erry Day Carry, which was soon picked up by Team Allegiance.
Trivia
- He studied Business Management in college.
- He has a tattoo of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse and a boat on his left half-sleeve, which reminds him of his mother (who loved lighthouses), his grandmother (who gave Weak3n a large amount of lighthouse memorabilia), his father (who loved fishing), and their vacation in 1999 to Cape Hatteras, when the lighthouse was being moved inland.[1]
- He purchased a Laguna Blue 2016 Corvette Stingray Z51 2LT on 18 May 2016 using only money donated to him on his stream.[2]
- He is an avid shoe collector. As of August 2016, he has 39 pairs of shoes from Nike, Adidas and many others. He has noted that he gets more comments about his shoes than he does about his eSports career, being a Twitch personality or his car. His favourite pair of shoes is the Kevin Durant IV "Weatherman"s.
- He likes to play basketball.
- He is 195 centimeters tall (6'5").
- His nickname originates from calling Halo 2 enemies weak or weakened. Halo 2 is also his favourite video game.
- He doesn't like single-player games, and only plays games that allow him to beat other players.
- If he couldn't play Jungle, he would play ADC.
- In Week Nine of the Season 2 NA Fall Split, Team Eager and Team EnVyUs were in a match when the casters discovered that Weak3n only had 667 player damage in the 20th minute of the game on
Odin. This created the "667" meme. - Nicknamed 'backstabber' by the community, as he is known (or blamed) to make controversial roster swaps for the better of the team's full growth, but at the cost of coming off as rude and dictatorial. He is fully accepting of it.
- Referred to as 'the initiator' and 'solo lane camper' during his time on AFK Gaming and Team EnVyUs for always being first in battle often on guardians or warriors and continually ganking solo lane to put CycloneSpin ahead.
- Allied has said that China will win the World Championship if he joins a Chinese team. In his words: "Weak3n camp solo lane, Weak3n numba wan. China numba wan."
- He is the influence for the in-game AFK
Nemesis skin. - He is aware that he will never hit a
Thor ult. - He was engaged to his girlfriend Samantha on 23 October 2016; they married on 9 June 2018.
- Is one of the influences of the Team Allegiance Athena skin, due to both Incon and PolarBearMike also playing the goddess to a high degree.
