Overview

The "2021 SMITE Pro League" is the eighth year of the SMITE professional league. Eight selected teams will participate in the offline league, with all games played at Hi-Rez Studios in Alpharetta, Georgia. Teams will work to qualify towards the SMITE World Championship 2022.

Format

• Pre-Season:
  • 8 teams are selected by Hi-Rez to participate in the SPL
  • Players from any region are eligible to play in the SPL
  • All teams are required to have a coach/sub as a sixth player on their roster
  • Free Agency period will run from Jan 11 to Jan 29
• Regular Season:
  • Games will be broadcast on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • All games will be broadcast on Twitch and Youtube
  • Season will be split into 3 phases
    • each phase will culminate in a playoff featuring the top 6 teams from that phase
  • All sets will be Best of Three
• Playoffs:
  • Single Elimination Bracket
  • All matches are Best of Five
  • Top 2 seeds receive bye to semifinals
  • Playoff position will determine points distribution for teams
