The "2018 Season NA SPL" is the fifth year of the North America SMITE professional league. Throughout the 2018 season, teams will play in online formate for a chance to represent the North American region in the international LANs.
Overview
Format
- 6 teams acquired a spot in the 2018 season of EU SPL:
- After the SMITE World Championship 2018, all rosters became free agents.
- Free agents period for teams to sign a roster: January 8th - March 1st
- Spring Season:
- 6 weeks of plays (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
- Double Round Robin
- Each match is Best of three (3)
- Top 2 teams qualify to SMITE Masters 2018
- Summer Season:
- 6 weeks of plays (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
- Double Round Robin
- Each match is Best of three (3)
- Top 2 teams qualify to Summer Finals
- Fall Season:
- 6 weeks of plays (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
- Double Round Robin
- Each match is Best of three (3)
- Top 2 teams qualify to SMITE World Championship 2019
- Buttom 4 teams qualify to SWC 2019 Qualifiers
- 3rd place gets bye to quarter finals
