Sunny "MrMakey" Moran was previously the support for A Mighty Størm.

Biography

MrMakey has lived his whole life in Boise, Idaho.

MrMakey played Team Fortress 2 and Warcraft III a lot before dedicating his gaming to SMITE. He was noticed in ranked by team A Mighty Storm. He also coached We Love Bacon during the SMITE World Championship 2015. Being Enemy eSports's coach during the SPL Season 2 NA Spring, he stepped in as a starting support following the departure of Whalrus. In the last week of the Spring Split, he moved to solo lane on the starting roster. After several weeks of notable performance, he stepped down from the roster.

He then moved on to being coach for Cloud9, accompanying them to the Summer Finals. Due to BaRRaCCuDDa's food poisoning, MrMakey ended up playing solo lane in two games versus Paradigm, losing both as teammate 0mega took over the hunter role. He would play hunter the next day as well in C9's 5th place match versus Fnatic, notably performing better in that game despite it not being his main role, although C9 lost that match as well.

About two weeks later, after the Summer Finals, MrMakey stepped down as coach of Cloud9.

MrMakey would continue to search for a team until his friend Oceans asked him to join Team Allegiance. They were in need of a shotcaller after DaretoCare left the team, a role which MrMakey could comfortably fill. However, after several weeks of poor performance and roster-switching, MrMakey decided to leave the team and retire from SMITE to focus on Overwatch. Despite this decision, he still played in the Fall Challenger Cup.

MrMakey further decided to stray from his decision by joining Enemy as their coach for Season 4. He stayed with them as Enemy was acquired by eUnited.

Trivia

  • His nickname is a misspelled version of the South Park character Mr. Mackey.
  • He played both support and solo for Enemy eSports during SPL Season 2.
  • He is the influence for the in-game NME BacchusSquare Bacchus skin.
  • His performance in the solo lane for Enemy eSports was notably strong, as he took TyrSquare Tyr (a weak god at the time) against Divios's BellonaSquare Bellona (both considered the strongest player and god in the game at the time), and won his lane, although he did not win the game.
