Melior Morior found its roots from the team formerly known as "Snipe Gaming", which was a popular team in the pro scene in the 2013 beta, and into the launch tournament, as well as into the first part of the Smite Pro League season 1. In 2014 "Snipe Gaming" was picked up by compLexity Gaming, the up-and-coming Esports sponsor most known for their work in games like "HearthStone", "StarCraft 2", and "Dota 2". Melior Morior really came into their own at the start of season 2, making it through the 2015 Spring Split Qualifiers in dominant fashion, and starting off the season 2 Spring Split with a 2-0 win over Denial eSports.
