eUnited is an American eSports organization. The org first entered SMITE when Enemy closed and merged with eUnited on February 4, 2017. Outside of SMITE, the organization has teams in League of Legends, Gears of War, Call of Duty, Rocket League and Overwatch.

History

Season 4

eUnited acquires Enemy

eUnited saw much more success and investor interest then they ever did with Enemy. Slowly and surely, the owners of eUnited pulled teams from NME to the new organisation, eventually leaving the current SMITE roster remaining with the organisation alone. On February 28, 2017, Enemy announced that they and eUnited will finally merge. Including any remaining staff, they brought over the current Enemy SMITE team, whom was finally looking to from again similar to their Season 2 domination. A day later, the organisation announced that Benj1 would join the squad from the then struggling SoaR Gaming.

Spring

Following the merger the team had a successful spring split finishing in the top half of the SPL and just barely missing out on auto-qualifying for Masters. eUnited moved on as the top seed in the Spring Gauntlet where they met SoaR Gaming in the Final. with bad blood between the two teams following Benji's transfer an intense set followed with SoaR emerging as the victor. eUnited moved down to the wildcard match where they played NRG Esports, eventually losing the set 0-2.

Summer

Following the spring split the team decided to replace longtime captain, support, and "general" PainDeViande. In his place they brought in former Team Allegiance support PolarBearMike ending his 2 month retirement. In the summer split eUnited started strong putting themselves in place to qualify for Dreamhack, but lost many key games down the stretch that kept them just outside of the qualifying spots. This included a game in which Wowy of Noble eSports defended his teams titan 1 Vs 4 in a game that could have locked eUnited into the tournament.

Fall & World Championship Run

Going into fall Khaos announced he would be leaving the team to join Hi-Rez as a programmer, leaving eUnited with a void in mid lane. After a nearly a month of searching and tryouts the team settled on Venenu best know for being part of the Oxygen Supremacy team who made a strong run in the Spring Gauntlet. Even though there were bigger and more established mid laners available, Venenu was chosen for how well he worked with the rest of team throughout tryouts. During the fall split eUnited was dominant, only dropping a single game during the entire split. This put them in a top position heading into Super Regionals. At Super Regionals eUnited continued the dominance winning 3-0 against Trifecta to secure their spot at Worlds, and then winning a hard fought set against Luminosity Gaming to guarantee the top NA seed at worlds. eUnited did not slow down at the World Championship, in their first 2 sets eUnited swept their opposition cruising straight to the Finals. In the finals eUnited met their European counterpart, the top seeded Team RivaL. eUnited capped off their legendary run by winning the set and lifting Thor's Hammer. Mid laner Venenu was named Worlds MVP in only his 1st split with the team.

Season 5

Spring

Following the season 4 world championship victory, expectations for eUnited were sky high. eUnited kept the same roster heading into season 5, but the rest of the North American SPL had revitalized many of their rosters. Competition was much tougher for eUnited in spring as eUnited saw themselves sitting at an 0-6 record through 3 sets. eUnited though managed to make a quick turnaround after week 3. Salvaging their spring split and squeaking in to a top 2 spot, qualifying them for Masters. At Masters eUnited was not able to find the same success they found at their last tournament. An early scare against Latin American opponent Nocturns set the tone for the rest of the tournament. As eUnited continued on to drop successive sets to Team RivaL and Spacestation Gaming.

Summer

The summer split would see a much more collected and determined eUnited. The team finished first place in the summer SPL while only dropping 2 sets, and safely qualifying for LAN. The Summer Finals would have eUnited this time besting fellow North American team Spacestation Gaming, but again unable to get past Team RivaL in another world championship rematch.

Fall & Worlds

After being unable to bet their European opponents for 2 tournaments in a row. eUnited and fellow top North American team Spacestation Gaming agreed that change was needed to find International success. This prompted a blockbuster trade that would send Worlds MVP mid laner Venenu to Spacestation in exchange for superstar mid laner Baskin. This roster change ignited eUnited, and had them playing at a level they had not played at since their world championship run. eUnited completely dominated the fall split only dropping a single set (after their Worlds qualification was already secured) to fellow auto-qualifier Splyce. eUnited's match-up at worlds would see them facing off against a rookie led Trifecta team, who were fresh off of a 5 set winning streak at the SWC Qualifiers. This momentum driven Trifecta team would go on to stun the defending world champions 2-1, ending eUnited's season.

Season 6

Season 6 would see a very different eUnited roster with mid laner Baskin announcing shortly after the conclusion of the season that he would not travel to play in the season 6 SPL. The off season would also have the longtime duo lane of PandaCat and PolarBearMike leaving to join Team Rival, and the remaining roster going their separate ways. The new roster would see Benji as the only returning member. With eUnited filling out the roster with former Team RivaL jungler and support iceicebaby and KaLaS along with fellow European, former mousesports mid laner BigManTingz. The roster would be rounded out with hunter Vetium, who was a standout on an otherwise lackluster Luminosity roster.
