History

Before Joining SMITE

Counter Logic Gaming was founded in April of 2010 by League of Legends player, "HotshotGG". Since then, the org has entered multiple games outside of League such as CS:GO, R6S, Smash Brothers, and more.

Sesaon 5

CLG Joins the SPL

At the start of Season 5, with the announced changes of a new SPL format and the announcement that new teams joining the scene, many speculated that Counter Logic Gaming would be among the newest teams to join the scene. On March 17, 2018, it was announced that CLG would be joining the SPL with a roster assembled by players hurt by the Roster Shuffle of 2018.

• March 17, Counter Logic Gaming acquires a spot in 2018 NA SPL. fineokay, Homiefe, Hurriwind, Snoopy, and Jigz joins.
• March 29, sLainy joins as coach.
• October 1, Homiefe leaves, Mask joins as jungler.
• December 16, Roster is released. fineokay, Mask, Hurriwind, Snoopy, Jigz, and sLainy leave.
