Biography
Confrey was born in Aarhus, Denmark and has lived in the suburbs of Aarhus since. Confrey started to play World of Warcraft at the age of 11, and was hooked on the game for 7 years not playing other games. Afterwards Confrey started playing games such as Diablo 3, Stracraft 2, Tribes:Ascend and finally SMITE.
Originally playing the role of hunter, Confrey was picked up by xCeed after meeting in a casual game. After his time in xCeed Confrey was playing on several unknown teams before finally finding a spot as the mid laner of Bloodytech in the SPL Season 1 Qualifiers. After being benched due to performance, Confrey was picked up by Agilitas as a solo lane sub for week 6 in the qualifiers. Agilitas ends up winning the week 6 of the qualifiers, and Confrey joins Agilitas as a starter on the solo lane. After the team just barely missed qualifying the the Season 1 SPL, Agilitas managed to win the SPL Season 1 EU Challenger Cup and SPL Season 1 EU Wildcard. This lead to being picked up by COGnitive Gaming and become Aquila. As Aquila the team managed to win the SPL Season 1 EU Regionals which finally lead the roster to being picked up by Titan. Under Titan Confrey helped his team reach a 2nd place at the SMITE World Championship 2015.
After Titan finished in 3rd place during the EU SPL Spring Split, Confrey decided to swap roles with Ataraxia heading into the Summer Split and became the new hunter for Titan [1].
During the fall split, Titan decided to make changes, as Ataraxia moved back into the Hunter role, while BroTuZ was signed as the new solo laner.[2] This left Confrey without a team for the remaineder of the fall split.
Eventually Confrey came in contact with the Smite Xbox scene and got to be coach for the Xbox team Exertus eSports, hoping to get a second and last chance to make it to the Smite World Championship 2016.[3]
Trivia
- Confrey's first username was ConFre because he didn't want to use his full surname originally.
- Confrey enjoys the mid lane the most, due to his love of playing mages.
